Mark Andrew Vizvary

Mark Andrew Vizvary of White Plains, NY passed away on January 3rd, 2018 at the age of 67.  He was born in North Tarrytown on September 24, 1950.  He was the son of Mary and Emil Vizvary.

Mark was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School and went on to graduate with a BS in Forestry at Syracuse University.  He furthered his education at Purdue University obtaining a MS in Plant Pathology.  He then pursued his Doctorate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

He is survived by his daughter Gina Vizvary and her husband John Paul Shebalin and son Stefan; his brothers Paul Vizvary and John Vizvary and their wives Susan and Patricia; his nephew and niece Chris and Anna.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday January 24th from 4 pm – 8 pm.  His Funeral Mass will be at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Thursday January 25th at 10 am with a burial to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
