Steven Paul Zaicek of Greenwood Lake, NY and formerly of Sleepy Hollow died tragically at the age of 39. Born in North Tarrytown on June 9, 1970, he was the son of Michael and Norma Ciancaglini Zaicek. He was a graduate of Pace University in 1992. He operated his own business, New York Metals. Steven was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and family man. He was always smiling and above all he loved his family and life. He also loved fishing, boating and golf. He will be missed by his wife Catherine (Kadnar), his son Steven Michael, his parents Michael and Norma of Sleepy Hollow; his brother Michael (Deanna) of Fishkill and his sister Donna (Ben) of Tarrytown. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, six nieces and nephews, 15 cousins and many friends. Visitation will be at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. His Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:00 at Transfiguration Church with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. | |

Aunt Norma, Uncle Mike, Michael and Donna, my heart goes out to you all. I will always remember Stevie, from the adorable little boy he was to the full of life man he became. I pray you have the strength during this difficult time. Much love, Amy

I did not know Steve, but I wanted to send my condolences for such a tragedy anyway. I feel so badly for his family and will keep you all in my prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss and God bless you all.
