I knew Vickie when I was in high school. She and I both studied at the Mozartina Conservatory. As I remember, she was quite a talented pianist. We were good friends, and she went as my prom date for Sleepy Hollow High School in 1983. I still have the picture. She was radiant in white taffeta with pastel blue and pink accents. Unfortunately, we lost touch after that. I am truly sorry she's gone now. I will pray both for her and her families. Requiem aeternam præsta, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei.

My deepest condolences to Vickie's family. She was truly a special person and someone I thoroughly enjoyed working with and getting to know. We will surely miss her at our store and she will always be a special part of the Bottom Dollar Food family in Fountain Hill.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. A little parable for mothers.
And the mother said: I have reached the end of my journey. And now I know that the end is better than the beginning, for my children can walk alone, and their children after them.
And the children said; You will always walk with us Mother, even when you have gone through the gates.
And they stood and watched her as she went alone, and the gates closed after her. And they said; We cannot see her, but she is with us still. A mother like ours is more than a memory. She is a Living Presence.
My God give you strength through this trying time.
