Sr. Rosemary Seibert, RSHM

Sr. Rosemary (Sr. St. Claire) Seibert, RSHM, died at Marymount Convent, Tarrytown, NY, September 7, 2016.

Born the Bronx NY, on March 2, 1935, to Jacob and Clare Egan Seibert., she entered the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary in Tarrytown, NY in 1954.

Sr. Rosemary ministered in schools in Sag Harbor, NY; Garden City, NY; Tarrytown, NY, and Long Island City, NY. She served  in  hospitals and nursing homes in Westchester and Rockland Counties, NY; Massachusetts, and Connecticut as medical assistant, activity leader, admitting and records clerk, and member of the pastoral care staff. She was living at Marymount Convent, Tarrytown, NY, at the time of her death.

Predeceased by her parents and sister, Arleen Seibert Tomblin, Sr. Rosemary is survived by nieces and nephews and by the members of her religious community.

Services at Marymount Convent, 32 Warren Avenue, Tarrytown, NY. Wake Monday, September 12, 3:00 - 7:30 pm, Vigil Service 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, September 13, 10:30 am. Burial Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her name may be made to Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, 50 Wilson Park Drive, Tarrytown, NY, 10591.
