Sr. Bernadette da Silva, 92, died at Marymount Convent, Tarrytown, NY, Sunday,November 29,
2015. She was a Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary for 67 years.
Sr. Bernadette ministered at Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY; at St. Lawrence School in
North Miami Beach, FL; at St. John School in McLean, VA; and at Marian Center and
Marymount Convent, both in Tarrytown.
She is survived by family in Portugal and by the members of her religious community.
Services at Marymount Convent, 32 Warren Avenue, Tarrytown, NY. Wake Tuesday, December
1, 3:00-7:30 pm, Vigil Service 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, December 2,,
10:30 am. Burial Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her name
