Rommel G. Gramonte, a long-time resident of Ossining died February 24, 2017 at the age of 48 after a long illness. Born on June 6, 1968 in Santa Rosa Nueva Ecija, Philippines, he was the son of Rene S. and Sonia Gonzalez Gramonte.

On September 8, 1990, he married Lucia Perez in St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow.

Rommel was a Field Technician with Verizon.

He was the very proud father of twin sons; Christopher and Rommel. He was always very involved with their activities over the years and was Rommel’s biggest fan as he played baseball through high school and for Iona College. He was an avid Yankees fan and a die-hard fan of the New York Giants, having finally gotten to his first game this season.

In addition to his loving wife Lucy and his adoring sons Christopher and Rommel, he is survived by his parents Rene and Sonia Gramonte and his beloved in-laws Pedro and Martha Perez.

Visitation will be from 4PM to 8PM on Tuesday at Coffey Funeral Home where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
