Jill...just found out today (yesterday now...it it is so early/late). Your spirit lives beyond the crappy place that took over your masterpiece Chiboust which changed all of us and made us better at whatever we were doing when we opened that magic door. Our walks from the car to Chiboust exploded with expectation. We always left thinking of coming back. We will always...always...be coming back.

Dear Rose Family: Although I haven't seen Jill in years, I remember her fondly and what a bright shining light she held within her. I cannot remember a time when she wasn't smiling. My deepest condolences to the family.

I didn't know Jill very well. I knew who she was in high school, and had some interaction when i worked at Griff's in the early days and she was at RJ's (?) in Frederick. She was always very friendly and beautiful in such a natural way. I have heard nothing but great compliments about her from others. It's always so sad when we lose someone like this. My sympathies to the Rose family, and to her plethora of friends.- chrissy TJ class of 1980

I always remember growing up with Jill. I remember when we went canoeing on Kerr Lake and lost an oar and didn't get back to the campsite untilafter dark. Which we were promptly admonished for being on the lake without a light. I remember the pranks we played on Halloween night while we were visiting Reds and Elenor. Riding in her Karmann Ghia in Ft lauderdale getting ready to sell lemonade at a festival. Jill enriched my life with her wonderful spirit and beautiful smile. Deepest sympathy

I'll always remember Jill fondly working together at Lespinasse in the 90's. Besides being a great talent she was a great friend to all of us.

Dear Rose Family - Jill brought incredible talent and compassion to our community. I wasn't a personal friend, simply a regular at Chiboust. My family, friends and I have so many wonderful memories from our times there - the delicious food, wonderful conversations, and always welcoming atmosphere. During one of our last conversations, Jill told me about her latest favorite olive oil, infused with Persian lime. Since then, I think of her every time I use it, as it stays on my counter and reminds me that the smallest gestures can change the world. I send you my deepest sympathy. We lost a light in our community. May she rest in peace.
