Concettina (Segreto) D'Amico

Concettina D’Amico a longtime resident of Tarrytown died January 9, 2017 at the age of 85. Born in Sant’Angelo di Brolo, Italy on January 30, 1931, she was the daughter of Michelangelo and Rosalia Palmieri Segreto. She was married to Salvatore D’Amico who predeceased her.

She was a devoted parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and she was a member of the Tarrytown Seniors. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons Vincent (Rosanna) of Valley Cottage and Michelangelo (Dina Montefuscoli) of Tarrytown. She was the loving grandmother of Concettina (Matthew) Salvesen, Salvatore (Marissa) D’Amico, Sandro (Erica) Olivo and Evelina (Steven) Quinones as well as 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her nephew Vincent (Mary) D’Amico and their children Michael and Matthew and her niece Rosanna Zappavigna who was a special companion to Concettina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings Vincenzo, Maria Lucia and Concettina.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
