It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Theresa “Terri” (Passariello) Brown, who left us on August 1, 2024, at the age of 71. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her.

Terri was born in North Tarrytown to Saverio Passariello and June LaFurge on October 15, 1952. She attended the public schools of the Tarrytowns and graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School in 1970. On April 24, 1971, she married the love her life, James Brown, at Immaculate Conception Church. They lived in Tarrytown throughout their marriage while raising their three children. She worked for many years at Bridge Plaza Pharmacy and the Horseman Diner, where she charmed customers with her feisty personality.

Terri was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim, and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joey Pinzel, son, Jimmy Brown Jr. and daughter, Allison Brown, along with her granddaughters, Abby and Bella, who were her reason for living. She also leaves behind 3 loving sisters and countless other family members and friends who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

To commemorate her remarkable life and the memories we cherish, visitation will be held on August 6, 2024 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on August 7, 2024 at Transfiguration Church at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
