Sarah Louise Jhun, a resident of Fulton, NY died may 5, 2022 at the age of 77. Born in Johnson City, NY on January 17, 1945, she was the daughter of Harold and Mary Woulfe Taylor.

A graduate of SUNY Albany, Sarah went on to have a long career as an English teacher in the Oswego High School. She loved history and literature; particularly American Literature.

Sarah met her husband U Jin Jhun while they were both students at SUNY Albany. Sarah will be remembered as a woman who loved her family more than anything else. She was a wonderful and devoted wife to her husband U Jin for 55 years. She was a loving mother of Jeannie Ann (Warren) Tang of Brooklyn, Susan (Adam) Balkin of Tarrytown and William (Jennie Steinhagen) of Tuckahoe.  She was the loving and doting grandmother of Noah and Sarah Tang, Morgan, Aidan and Isabella Balkin and Harvey and Vivien Jhun. Also surviving are her beloved siblings Elizabeth Kliment, Martha McKiever and Samuel Taylor.

Visitation and services will be on Friday May 13 at Coffey Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
