Robert J. Walsh

Robert James Walsh, 78, of the Bronx, passed away peacefully surrounded by those that he loved most on November 13, 2025. 

Bob was a cherished husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Walsh; his devoted children Kathleen Walsh (George Parra) and Bob Walsh (Katie Walsh), and his treasured grandchildren Aileen and Maeve Walsh. He also leaves behind extended family members, lifelong friends, and fellow union brothers who will remember him for his kindness, loyalty, and steadfast spirit. 

One of his proudest achievements was to be a member of Local 15 of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE). Known for his pride in his union work, Bob exemplified what it meant to be dedicated to his job, his family and all those that he loved. His legacy will live on in the lessons he taught, the stories he shared, and the love he gave so freely.

Bob will be deeply missed and forever honored by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be on Sunday November 16 from 4PM to 8PM. His funeral mass will be on Monday at Transfiguration Church at 10:30.
