Robert F. Maher, Jr.

Robert F. Maher, Jr. of Ossining died April 3, 2023 at the age of 64. Born in Tarrytown on May 2, 1958, he was the son of Robert F. and Margaret (Hayes) Maher. Bob graduated from Transfiguration School and Irvington High School. He was a house painter by trade but had to retire due to poor health.

Bob enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved riding his motorcycle. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was also a wonderful cook with BBQ being a specialty of his.

Bob was also an animal lover; especially his own dogs and cats he had over the years. He leaves behind his faithful dog Kody.

Bob is survived by his loving partner of 38 years, Eileen Davis; his mother Margaret, sister Jody (Robert) Redmond and brother Kevin (Victoria DeRose). He is also survived by Eileen’s children Kristen (John) Connolly and Stephan (Marie) Davis and their children Kevin and Dana Connolly and Jack, Madelyn and Kate Davis. Also surviving is his dear friend Barbara who was also his cooking partner. He was predeceased by his father Robert.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Monday from 4PM to 8PM. His Funeral Mass will be at Transfiguration Church on Tuesday at 10:30 followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
