Robert Bergman Obituary

Robert E. Bergman of Mahopac died December 16, 2016 at the age of 74. Born in the Bronx on January 16, 1946, he was the son of Robert and Sabina Mundock Smutek. After graduating from high school, Robert served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.

Robert was retired after having worked as a chemical technician for Englehard Corporation in Peekskill.

He is survived by his son Matthew, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also surviving are his siblings Linda Smutek, Michael Smutek, Stephen Smutek, Phyllis Barone and Nancy Sherlock. He was predeceased by his daughter Sherry and his brother Robert his sister Marion Smutek.
