Robert N. Ackerman, Sr., most recently of Bushkill, PA died November 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Born and raised in White Plains on May 16, 1940, he was the son of Clayton and Esther Ackerman.

Bob met his future wife Delia Marmo in North Tarrytown. They were married in Immaculate Conception Church on February 25, 1961. They then lived in Tarrytown for about 12 years before settling in Cortlandt Manor where they lived for 47 years.

Bob worked as a carpenter, but left that profession and became a printer. He was very handy though and always worked to improve his house.

While living in Tarrytown, he was a member of Phenix Hose of the Tarrytown Fire Department. He was an animal lover and always had dogs and cats as pets. He will also be remembered as an avid gardener which brought him so much joy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Delia, who cared for him all during his illness. He is also survived by his sons Robert, Jr (Darcie) and Thomas, his beloved grandchildren Kimberly (Johnathan) Garcia, Maureen (Robert) Colon and Richard as well as his cherished great grandchildren Nolan, Levi and Julian. He was predeceased by his brother Clayton Ackerman, Jr.
