Patricia E. (Johnson) Hafner

Patricia E. Hafner, a longtime resident of Tarrytown died June 26, 2024 after a brief illness. She was 80. Born in New York City on March 16, 1944, she was the daughter of Emil and Elsie (Alm) Johnson.

Pat was a Registered Nurse, having graduated from New York Medical College School of Nursing. She worked at several hospitals over the years including Westchester Medical Center and Phelps Memorial Hospital which is where she spent most of her years in nursing.

She had been an active parishioner of Christ Episcopal Church in Tarrytown and had served in many capacities over the years.

Pat was married to Robert F. Hafner. She and Bob were members of the Washington Irving Boat Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

She will be remembered for her friendly personality and her willingness to help anyone who needed help. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her family.

Surviving are her loving husband, Bob, her loving daughter Tricia (Pedro) Correia, her cherished granddaughters Sophia and Laura, and her dear sister Joan Beats as well as many nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Sunday June 30 from 2PM to 6PM. Funeral Services will also be at Coffey Funeral Home on Monday July 1 at 10:00 followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
