Michael J. Kraft

Michael J. Kraft, 51, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.

Michael was born on April 30, 1972 in Sleepy Hollow, NY, the only son of John and Peggy Russo Kraft.

He attended St. Teresa of Avila School, Sleepy Hollow High School, and earned a BA in History from SUNY Cortland, where he spent a semester abroad in Beijing, China.

Michael worked in the interactive media industry for 30 years. He began his career in Los Angeles at Investor's Business Daily. Most recently he led strategy for Haystack Reputation and resided in Summit, NJ.

Michael is predeceased by his father John Kraft.  He is survived by his mother Peggy Kraft of Tarrytown, NY, his sisters Mary (Kyle) Currlin of Irving, TX, Eileen (Ivan) Koraca of Ossining, NY, and his nephews and niece, Sebastian, Oliver and Xavier Currlin, and Maggie and Owen Koraca. Michael is also survived by many caring relatives, friends, and co-workers.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 4 from 4pm-8pm.  His Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 5 at 10:30am at Transfiguration Church followed by internment at Kensico Cemetery.
