Michael A. Carlo, 97, of Tarrytown, NY, formerly of Irvington, NY died on August 8, 2023. He was born on July 17, 1926 to the late Joseph and Pauline Carlo in Rye, NY. He was an Air Force Veteran of WWII. He received a BA from NYU and a Masters of Social Work from Adelphi University. He worked for the Westchester County Probation Department and the VA Hospital, Montrose, NY.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ann Marie Carlo, four children-Michael, Claire (Giles), Christine and Carolann; eight grandchildren-Michael, Nicole, Matthew, Cassidy, Nicholas, Siena, Lauren and Kristina; two great granddaughters-Addison and Eliza.
He loved spending time with his family.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. His Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford on Monday at 10:00 followed by entombment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name would be appreciated.
