Michael Peter Bowe

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Peter Bowe announces his passing on June 20, 2025, at the age of 69. Mike, a resident of Tarrytown, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.

Mike was born on September 29, 1955, in New York, NY, the son of Mary (Sweeney) and William Bowe. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, James Bowe. Mike is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Deb Cowart, and his stepchildren whom he loved as his own, Richie O'Connor (Kristen) and Jessica Sheehy (Pat). He was the proud and adored grandfather of Michael, Kieran, Addison, and Kayleigh, who brought him endless joy.

He is also survived by his brother Bill Bowe, his uncle and aunt, Ed and Noreen Sweeney, as well as many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Mike was known for his quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and deep loyalty to his family and friends. Whether telling stories or sharing a laugh, he had a unique ability to light up a room. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Memorial Service to honor Mike’s life will take place on Wednesday, June 25th, at 11:00 AM.  A luncheon will follow at J.P. Doyle's in Sleepy Hollow - all are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital www.mskcc.org or the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org, both of which were causes close to Mike’s heart.
