Michael Bellantoni, age 70, passed away on September 30th, 2024. He was born July 16th, 1954 in Tarrytown, the son of the late Antonino and Frances Bellantoni.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Betty. He is survived by his son Anthony and his four siblings, Antoinette Bellantoni, Maryann Marconi, Linda Galassi, and Anthony Bellantoni.

Michael, a huge New York Yankees fan, grew up in Tarrytown and played football with the Westchester Community College Vikings and later on with Southern Illinois University. He eventually moved to Northeastern Pennsylvania where he and his wife founded the Lackawanna Challenger Little League for children with disabilities.

Michael lived with a spinal cord injury for over 35 years, but he never let it sway his positive attitude on life. He was truly loved by everyone who knew him and will forever be missed.
