Mario Scappaticci
Obituary
Mario Scappaticci, a longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow died April 18, 2023 at the age of 87. Born in Italy on August 8, 1935, he was the only child of Antonio and Palma Scappaticci.
When Mario came to the United States, he began working as a bricklayer and later went on to have a long career with Reliable Sprinklers in Mount Vernon.
He married Maria Scapaticci and together they raised their 2 sons.
Mario was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of Sleepy Hollow Seniors. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, his sons Mario and Frank, his grandsons Daniel and Thomas and his great grandson Andrew.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday from 4PM to 8PM. His Funeral Mass will be Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow at 10:00 followed by entombment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
