Marie L. (Iannone) Bednarczyk

Marie Louise Bednarczyk (nee Iannone) passed away peacefully after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was 76. Marie is survived by her children, Gina (Fernando) Oliveira, her grandchildren, Christopher Vittoria (Anyssa Buchanon), Alyssa M. Oliveira (Ricky Almanzar), Richie J. Bednarczyk (Juan M. Garcia). Michele (Joseph) Deluise, and her four children. 

Preceded in death by her ex-husband Joseph P. Bednarczyk. 

Born in Yonkers, NY in 1948, where she was raised and resided until her passing. 

Marie worked in healthcare for fifty years, lovingly known as Nurse Marie. 

She worked in different areas of healthcare until she found her calling at the Hawthorne Foundation, where she worked with special needs children and adults with love and compassion until her diagnosis. 

She loved to shop and spend time with her family. 

She leaves a huge hole in our lives that can never be filled, but we will carry her love for us through all the days of our lives. 

A celebration of her life will be held at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 Broadway, Tarrytown, NY on Friday 4/4/2025 from 5pm to 9pm. A mass will be held on Saturday, 4/5/2025 @ 10am at Christ the King Church, 740 North Broadway, Yonkers.
