Leonard J. Frasca peacefully passed away on January 17, 2024 in Palm Coast, Florida.  He was 95 years old. He was a lifelong resident of Tarrytown for over 93 years before relocating to Palm Coast.  He was the son of Augustine and Mildred Frasca and the brother of Elizabeth Frasca, all who predeceased him. Leonard was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Ricciardella Frasca.  He was also predeceased by his long-time companion, Dora Macrino.

Leonard was an intelligent, thoughtful, generous man who was treasured by all who knew him. He was very active in community service throughout his life.  He was a member of the Tarrytown Auxiliary Police and served on the Tarrytown Schools Board of Education.  Leonard served as president of the Holy Name Society at the Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow and organized many fundraisers and bazaars.  He was president of the Giuseppe Garibaldi Lodge and St. Joseph’s Men’s Club and participated in the Italian American Loyalty Organization for many years (ITALO).

Leonard was a graduate of Fordham University, Rose Hill, and Fordham Law School.  He is survived by his children, Laura DaSilva (Carlos), Leonora Voltmer (Allen), Leonard A. Frasca (Doreen) and Linda Rosario (Frank). He was blessed with five grandsons, Carlos (Kristen), Anthony (Sarah), Daniel, Matthew (Milica) and Leonard Jr., and three great-grandchildren, Myra, Charlie and Macy DaSilva. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Coffey Funeral Home, 91 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the St. John Paul II at the Immaculate Conception Maronite Church, 199 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY at 10:00. The graveside service will immediately follow at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, 540 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY.
