Kevin B. Tucker

Kevin B. Tucker, a resident of Pleasantville for more than 60 years, died October 8, 2023. He was 89 years old. Kevin was born in Manhattan on February 24, 1934 and moved to Tarrytown when he was about 4 years old. He was raised in Tarrytown where he attended schools and graduated from Washington Irving High School. After high school, he went on to serve in The United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956 when he was honorably discharged.

In 1959, Kevin married Eleanor M. Briggs and soon after, the couple relocated to Pleasantville.  

Kevin had been a Security Guard at the Pace University School of Law in White Plains.

He had been a member of the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department for more than 50 years. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants. Kevin was also known for taking meticulous care of his home and his cars.

Kevin loved spending time with his family and was devoted to his wife Eleanor who survives him.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Earl (Gail) Briggs and his nieces Linda Briggs Hogan and Michele Briggs as well as his grand-nieces Allison and Meghan Hogan whom he especially enjoyed spending time with. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday October 13, 2023 from 10:00 -12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 and burial in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery with Military Honors immediately afterwards.
