Judith Ann (Denman) Toich Obituary
Judith Ann Toich
February 19, 1942 – August 7, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Judith Ann Toich, who left us on August 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Judy was born on February 19, 1942 in Tarrytown, NY to Margaret Donahue and John Denman. She grew up in Irvington, NY with her parents and three siblings.
A devoted mother, Judy dedicated her life to nurturing her family and instilling values of love, kindness, and resilience in her children. She had fulfilling careers in the fields of accounting, child and elder care. Judy had a love of cooking, an enthusiasm for home décor, and a passion for crochet. With her crochet hook in hand, Judy created everything from cozy blankets to precious hats for her grandchildren. Each stitch told a story, reflecting her generosity and love.
Throughout her life, Judy touched many hearts with her compassion and thoughtfulness. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Her quick-witted personality and lively sense of humor often filled the room with laughter. Judy’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and serving up her homemade lasagna during holiday gatherings. She took great pleasure in sharing memorable photos and family stories while sitting in her favorite purple chair. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Judy is survived by her sons Patrick Jr. (Laura) and Jeffrey (Thara) Toich; her eight grandchildren, Amanda, Laurie, Ashley, Margaret, Kimberly, Julia, Rylee, and Jake; her great-grandsons, Charlie and Jason. She is also survived by her sister Joyce and her former husband Patrick. Preceded in death by her son Robert (Marianne) Toich; her sister Joan; and her brother John.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held from 10-12pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at
Coffey Funeral Home (91 North Broadway in Tarrytown, NY), followed by the burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
