Joseph J Golden

Joseph J. Golden, a long-time resident of Tarrytown died August 6, 2023 after brief illness. He was 58. Joseph was born in Somerville, NJ on April 11, 1965 and was the son of Robert and Mary (O’Connor) Golden. He was a graduate of Stepinac High School, Class of 1981.

Joseph was Director of Analytics at Westchester Medical Center where he developed and managed data for the hospital.

He was an accomplished photographer and volunteered his time taking pictures for the Tarrytown School District, The River Town Runner’s Club as well as endless community events, charities and organizations.

Joe is survived by his mother Mary, his sisters Liz, Ann and Katie, his brothers-in-law Sal, Frank and Mike and his sister-in-law Nelly. He is also survived by his nieces Emily, Kristina, Alex and Hannah and his nephews Greg, Mikey and Matt as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Robert and his brothers Edward and Denis. 

There will not be any visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration Church on Friday August 11 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center 300 Corporate Blvd. S, Yonkers, NY 10701 www.setonchildrens.org would be appreciated.
