Joseph F. Capillo, Jr.

Joseph F. Capillo, Jr., died peacefully May 9th in Phelps Hospital/Northwell Health. Joe was born and raised in Tarrytown, New York, to Joseph F. and Columba DeCarlo Capillo on January 17, 1940. He attended schools there graduating from the first senior class of the then new Sleepy Hollow High School in 1958, followed by his graduation from Iona College in New Rochelle.

Joe worked in various aspects of the retail furniture business and wrote a book, “Living On The Top Line’, discussing furniture sales techniques. He also served his country in the Marine Corps Reserves.

Joe is survived by several cousins.

As per his wishes, he will be buried with his parents in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery on Saturday May 21 with a graveside service at 11:30.
