John J. Janos

John J. Janos, a resident of Beacon, NY died May 17, 2022 at the age of 84. Born in Tarrytown on May 12, 1938 and raised in North Tarrytown, he was the son of Ignac and Rose Tomasco Janos.

After graduation from high school, John went on to receive his Bachelors Degree from Syracuse University. He had a long career in commercial advertising. He spent time living in Australia and for about 10 years during his retirement, he lived in Hawaii. He came back to the area about six years ago to be near family.

John is survived by his sister Frances Janos, his brother Joseph Janos and his nephews Richard and Joseph Janos.

Visitation will be a Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday May 26 at 12:00 where services will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery will follow.
