John J. Cullen, II

John J. Cullen, II a life-long resident of the Tarrytowns died August 2, 2023 at the age of 51. Born in N. Tarrytown on October 31, 1971, he was the son of John A. and Patricia (Dorsett) Cullen. John was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School, class of 1989.

John was a Sound Engineer who had a long career working on Broadway shows such as In The Heights, Spamalot and Chicago. More recently he had been working on a tribute show of the Ramones. When not working, he was an accomplished guitarist and an automobile enthusiast who loved restoring cars.

John is survived by his mother Patricia, his son John Anton ‘Tony’, his sister Lisa Marie, nieces Giana, Gabriella and Evelyn as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. John is also survived by his long-time friend and companion Yasmine.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Sunday from 4PM to 8PM.  On Monday, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery where interment will follow.
