John A. Cullen

John A. Cullen, a lifelong resident of Tarrytown died February 8, 2020 at the age of 74. John was born in Tarrytown on March 3, 1945 and was the son of John J. and Eloise Johnson Cullen.

After his service in the U.S. Army, John went on to work for NY Telephone in various capacities and locations. He retired after 41 years of service to the company.

He was a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sleepy Hollow.

John will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed by his wife Patricia (Dorsett), his son John J., II; daughter Lisa Marie and grandchildren Gianna, Gabriella and John Anton. He is also survived by his sister Kathryn (Edward) Ladin, Patricia Vankouwenberg and David Cullen as well as several nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by his dog Mali.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. His Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 10:00 at Queen of Peace Chapel in Gate of Heaven Cemetery followed by interment.
