Hugh Barbour Obituary

Hugh Stewart Barbour of Sleepy Hollow died peacefully on January 8, 2021 at the age of 99. Hugh was born in Beijing, China on August 7, 1921 and was the son of George Brown Barbour and Dorothy Dickinson.

He had been a professor at Earlham College in Richmond, IN until his retirement.

Hugh is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Sirkka (Talikka) and his daughters Elisa, Celia and Maida as well as 3 grandchildren.
