Gregorio Gualtieri, Jr.

On Friday April 2nd, 2021 Gregorio “Greggie” Gualtieri Jr, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away at the age of 26.  He was born on February 1, 1995 to Shona and Gregorio Sr in Northern Westchester Hospital.  He was raised in North Tarrytown with his parents, older brother Joseph and younger sister Marianna.  Greggie attended Sleepy Hollow High School where he was an avid Lacrosse player. He loved his family, spoiling his nieces, hanging out with his friends, Lacrosse, recounting history, racing cars and working as a mason.

Best known for his contagious laugh and enchanting smile, Greggie could charm all the girls from 1 to 100. His strong and exuberant spirit was contagious and brought joy to all those around him.  Greggie was happiest with family, spoiling his God daughters and niece, teasing his brother and sister and celebrating the holidays.  Greg’s compassion was highlighted by his willingness and desire to give to and help others. Although haunted by addiction and anxiety Greg stayed positive and fought a tough inner battle daily. His last few months were among his happiest, but he was devastated by the death of his grandmother last month. Greg lived life as if he knew he would only be here a short while.  His death has left an empty space in so many hearts.

Greg will be forever remembered with love and tenderness by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Shona Gualtieri, father Gregorio Gualtieri Sr, brother Joseph Gualtieri (Monica Diaz), sister Marianna Gualtieri, niece Nicolette Gualtieri and his maternal Grandfather Innes Cargill. He is preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother Anne Cargill, his paternal grandparents Giuseppe Gualtieri and Marianna Pirroncelli, and his Uncle David Cargill Jr.

Viewing - Friday April 9th from 4:00-8:00 pm

Prayer Service – Saturday April 10th 10:00 am (Due to Covid Service will be restricted to family.
