Grace Brideau Malandrino, a resident of North Tarrytown, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2024. She was 90. Grace was born on July 30th, 1933 in Tracadie, Canada to Howard and Alice (Richard) Brideau. She came to the states as a baby and lived in North Tarrytown for the remainder of her life.
Grace was the loving mother of five; John Jr. Malandrino (Joanna), Leslie Malandrino, Rosalyn Ferrera (Antonio), Joanne Daly, and Maria Solari (Robert). She leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Michelle (Sean), Michael (Meg), Marisa (Chris), Julia (Sean), Thomas, Nicholas, Alessandra, and John, and 4 great grandchildren. One of 12 children, Grace is survived by her siblings Alvin, Norman and Henry Brideau and Jeanette Trodden.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Malandrino, her grandson Ryan Daly, son-in-law Thomas Daly, and her siblings Ernie and Leo Brideau, Viola Duffy, Gertrude Lazzarino, Ann Marie Buscetto, Mary Katherine (Kay) Lingardo, and Diane Gagliardi.
Grace worked at First National Bank in North Tarrytown for many years. She then became a real estate agent with Century 21 in Mount Pleasant; a job that she loved. Grace was happiest dancing with her husband and being around her children and her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6th from 4:00 - 8:00pm.
The funeral mass will take place at St. Teresa Church in Sleepy Hollow on Wednesday, February 7th at 10:00am. Grace will be laid to rest at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery following the service.
