Giovanni Mazzonetto

Giovanni Mazzonetto of Tarrytown passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023 with his family by his side. He was 97.

Born in Campo San Piero, Italy on May 24, 1926, he was the son of Maurizio and Giuseppina (Rizzo) Mazzonetto Giovanni was a restauranteur, having owned restaurants here and in Italy. In Tarrytown, he will be remembered as the proprietor of the very popular restaurant Lago Di Como which was on Main Street.

Giovanni is survived by his son Andrea Mazzonetto of Tarrytown and his daughter Maurizia Riso of Tarrytown as well as his 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His wife, Anna, predeceased him in 2006. Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 -10:30 AM. His Funeral Mass will be at Transfiguration Church at 11:00 followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
