Gina Tucci, a longtime Sleepy Hollow resident, passed away March 7, 2026 at the age of 84. She was born on September 5, 1941 in Mirabello, Sannitico, Campobasso, Italy and she was the daughter of Domenico and Carmelina (Zingaro) Iademarco. She married her beloved husband of 59 years on April 1, 1967.

Gina had been a Sleepy Hollow crossing guard in the 1970’s for 3 years. She really loved her job.

Gina is survived by her most loving husband, Tommaso and her only daughter Maria Carmela (Frank). Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Thomas and Michael. Gina is also survived by her sister Elvira and her brother Giovanni as well as many nieces and nephews that she truly loved from the bottom of her heart.  She was predeceased by her sisters Elisa and Palmina and her brother Pasquale who was Giovanni’s twin.

Thank you most of all for the caring and loving nurses and aides who took care of mom at the Tarrytown Hall Care Center and Skyview Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. You are truly a blessing.  

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday March 12, 2026 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow at 10:00 followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
