George Maldonado (1960–2026) was an affectionate, dedicated, and hardworking individual who always put the needs of others ahead of his own. George was born in Buffalo, New York. He moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he made his home and was known for his nature, giving spirit, and witty sense of humor. George was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort to whomever needed it. Additionally, George’s occupation was a plumber.


George was married to his beloved wife Miriam Maldonado. George met his wife, Miriam Maldonado, in 1977 at Bushwick High School. They married 12 years later on August 26,1989 and went on to have two children named George Jr. and Daniel Angelo. George was also a wonderful grandpa to the kids of his sons. George was also a great dancer and inspired those around him with his kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.


George’s personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered and his passing will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come.


Reposing Coffey Funeral Home, 91 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY on Tuesday, January 27from 4-7pm, where services will be conducted at 7pm. Interment private.
