Gary M. Bucci

Gary Michael Bucci, a lifelong resident of the Tarrytowns, died peacefully on April 6, 2023 at the age of 66 after a long illness. Gary was born on November 5, 1956 and was the son of Henry and Catherine (Dennis) Bucci. He was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow H.S. Class of 1974.

Gary was co-owner of G & R Bucci, Inc. General Contractors. He loved sports and excelled in baseball, softball and wrestling and enjoyed a good game of golf.  Gary's greatest passion was fishing - anywhere from the Tarrytown Lakes to deep-sea fishing on Long Island Sound. He was a member of the Board of the Tarrytown Eagles (FOE 1042).

He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Helwig); son Gary of Overland Park, Kansas; daughter Lauren & son-in-law Tim McClintock of Tarrytown; 2 grandsons; brother James (Timothy Eigenfeld) Bucci of Medford, MA; sisters Sharon (David) Thomas of Tarrytown and Natalie (Bobby)Warren of Deland, FL as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is pre-deceased by his brother Gregory Bucci.

On Tuesday April 11 there will be a memorial service to remember Gary at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown from 4 to 8 PM. His Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday April 12at Transfiguration Church at 10:30 AM followed by interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
