Frances J. (Diven) Lynch

Frances J. Lynch of Sleepy Hollow and formerly of Yonkers died November 29, 2025 at the age of 70. Frances was born in the Bronx on June 2, 1955 and was the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Devito) Diven.

Frances spent her career in education and had been the Principal at CS152 in the Bronx until her retirement. She is remembered as a wonderful principal who cared tremendously for all of her students. She was a fierce advocate for every one of them and any needs they may have had.

Most of all though, Frances will be remembered as a loving mother and doting grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she always treasured the time she spent with them.

She is survived by her loving daughter Kristin (Santiago) Ruiz and her cherished grandchildren Joseph Ruiz and Kate Ruiz. She was predeceased by her parents Josephe and Dorothy, her brother Joseph Diven and her sister Joanne Diven.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4PM to 8PM.

Services will be private.
