Elizabeth Pogue

Elizabeth Pogue, a longtime resident of Tarrytown died August 10, 2024 at the age of 99. Born at home in the Bronx on November 27, 1924, she was the daughter of Richard and Lillian (Ahearn) Pogue.

Having earned her PhD, Elizabeth spent her entire career in education including many years as a professor at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry.

She was a parishioner of Transfiguration Church.

Elizabeth is survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Dorothy, Richard, George and Robert.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Transfiguration Church on Friday August 16, 2024 at 10:30. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
