Doris R. (Franqueira) Drahos

Doris R. Drahos, a resident of North White Plains, died October 30, 2024 at the age of 90. Born in Newark, NJ on November 17, 1933, she was the daughter of Antonio and Catherine M. (Ryan) Franqueira.

Doris was married to Anthony ‘Tony’ Drahos who predeceased her. She and Tony had lived in the Pennybridge area of Tarrytown and later in Irvington where they raised their family. They were parishioners of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow.

In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Doris had worked in the finance office of GMAC for many years.

She was a quiet, devout woman who above all else, enjoyed caring for her family.

Doris is survived by her son Anthony (Iris) and her daughter Debbie. She is also survived by her sister Margaret (Bruce) Capossela. In addition to her husband Tony, she was predeceased by her brothers Paul, Thomas and Antonio Franquera.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday November 1 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10:00 at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow.
