Donald Clinton Gheen, Sr.

It is with great love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald Clinton Gheen, Sr., who departed this life on September 12, 2025, in Seabrook, Texas, at the age of 82.

Born on August 21, 1943, Donald lived a life defined by devotion to his family, quiet strength, and an enduring sense of humor that uplifted those around him. He was a loving husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend whose kindness and integrity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Gheen, who passed away on July 7, 2024. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership.

He is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey Gheen and Donald Gheen, Jr., and three beloved grandchildren, Taryn Gheen, Preston Gheen, and Althea Gheen, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.

Donald’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him for his gentle spirit, steadfast love, and the warmth he brought to every gathering.

A service will be held at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown, NY, on October 10, from 3-6 PM, to celebrate his life and the many ways he touched the lives of others.
