Darrell C. Lindsay,Sr.

Darrell C. Lindsay, formerly of Tarrytown died October 22, 2023 at the age of 72. Darrell was born in Tarrytown on July 13, 1951 and was the son of Clarence and Madeline (Williams) Lindsay.

Darrell worked for many years for the Village of Tarrytown DPW. After his retirement, he moved to Ellenville, NY where he remained until his passing.

He was a life active member of the Tarrytown Fire Department where he worked his way up the ranks to Chief of Department in 1999 while with Conqueror Hook and Ladder. He was currently a member of Riverside Hose Company #4.

Darrell was married to Ann Bucciarelli who predeceased him in 2019. Darrell is survived by his two loving children, his son and daughter Darrell Jr. & Deanne Lindsay, his brothers Dorian Lindsay Sr. and Gilbert Parker, his aunt Ernestine Jeter, his nephews Dorian II & Mark Lindsay, his same generation cousins Paula & Donald Williams, Harry (Sonny) Willams, Calvin Williams, a host of younger cousins, his ‘close as a brother’ friend Kim Berry, and a host of loving and caring friends and associates.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Friday November 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. His Funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 11:00 at St. Teresa of Avila Church. Private cremation to follow.
