Crystal Standish
Obituary
Crystal Standish of the Bronx, died March 18, 2023 at the age of 71. Born and raised in New York City, she was the daughter of John and Josephine (Auld) Standish.
Crystal spent the early part of her career working in the fashion industry notably for Gloria Vanderbilt and Tommy Hilfiger. Most recently she had been a program director with the New York City Homeless Shelter System and was at the Sammon Build Center on the Bronx.
Crystal will be remembered for her love of classic Hollywood movies and her television was usually on the TCM channel. She also loved Science Fiction and Fantasy movies. She also enjoyed making jewelry.
Crystal was a wonderful and loving mother to her son Torian Brown who survives her. Also surviving are her sisters Angela Standish of the Bronx and Shelly Standish of Yonkers as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
