Carol Rebsch

February 18, 1957 - October 14, 2025

Carol Rebsch, long-time resident of Irvington, New York, passed on October 14th, at the age of 68, after a short illness.

Carol grew up in Tarrytown, New York, and graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School.  She then attended and graduated from Berkely Business School.  A loving wife and mother, she started her career as a buyer in New York City, then worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years, where she was promoted to Supervisor, then worked as a Legal Assistant to their federal lawyers in Long Beach, California. When Carol retired from the Postal Service, she spent her final working years as Deputy Registrar for Sleepy Hollow, NY.Carol loved being around her family and friends and loved to bake (she shared her famous chocolate chip cookies with locals and friends).  She enjoyed vacationing in the Amish area in

Lancaster, PA, where she made many loving friendships with the Amish.

Carol also loved music and enjoyed going to live concerts and spending time in New York City.  She enjoyed traveling to England to see her sister Ann and family, and California to visit her sister, Kathy.  She had a big heart and generous spirit and never forgot a family member's birthday.  She will be sorely missed by family, coworkers and friends alike.

Carol is survived by her beloved daughter, Linda Rosenberg, her brother Robert Rebsch, her sisters, Ann Hamilton and Kathy Rebsch, her nieces, Sadi Rebsch and Suzanne Hamilton, and nephew, James Hamilton, and extended family of cousins John Cuff and Daniel Murtha, both of whom were like brothers to Carol as well as her extended family member, Nana, who prayed for Carol daily.  Carol is predeceased by her beloved daughter Amy Rosenberg, and brother, Kevin Rebsch.
