Amazing, always joyful, totally selfless, completely present in the moment, and from another time and place, Camille Loscalzo was the best ever. Mom, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and more - extraordinary. Camille lived over 101 incredible years - and brought happiness to everyone she met and every place she travelled.
Camille was born in New York City on May 8, 1921, and brought joy across the NYC and Queens communities for more than seven decades. Camille and her husband Joe moved to Scarsdale in the 1990s, and she would walk around town with a smile always. Camille got a job with Lord & Taylor, in her mid-60s and was so proud and happy to work for the next 30 years - into her amazing mid-90s! L&T shoppers shopped only with Camille!
Everyone she knew loved Camille – and Camille truly loved everyone.
Camille will be missed every day and will always be with her family – daughters Linda Loscalzo and Diane Carre, grandkids Christine Carre and Carlo Punzalan, Steve and Meredith Carre, and great grandkids Lily (16), Stephen (16), Ryan (14), Cullen (12), Kai (8), Luca (6). Camille is together again with her husband Joe Loscalzo, parents Domenico and Clara Cacio, brothers Pasquale, Robert, Gerard and Louis Cacio, and son-in-law Steve Carre - and so many other beautiful people.
We’ve lost one of the truly beautiful souls. Camille’s light will shine bright forever. Peace and Love.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4PM to 7PM. Her Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 10:00 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery followed by entombment.
