Brett J. Furtado died unexpectedly on June 28, 2021 at the age of 41. Born in North Tarrytown on November 2, 1979, he was the son of John and Joy Ulrich Furtado.

Brett was a graduate of Irvington High School Class of 1998. He continued his education in college and eventually went on to earn multiple certifications as an electrician. He had been a working as a member of Local Union 3 of the IBEW.

Brett loved riding motorcycles and working out, but most of all he was a devoted father who cherished spending time with his children and family.

He is survived by his wife Lauren (Vigiano), his children Brooke Furtado, BrettValentino Furtado and Carmela Furtado. He is also survived by his parents John and Joy as well as his sister Joy Babe Furtado.

Visitation will be on Tuesday July 6 from 5PM to 7PM where services will be held at 6:30PM.
