Barbara Sue Gasparre (Halpin), passed away peacefully at the age of 79.  She retired with her loving husband, Eugene Gasparre in Coconut Creek, FL, prior to this making their home in Tarrytown, NY.  Barbara was born in White Plains, NY on May 15, 1944.  Her parents were the late James and Margaret Halpin.  Barbara was predeceased by her brothers James Halpin, Eugene Halpin, Robert Halpin, and sister Peggy Bauman, and her grandson Anthony Stanyard.  She is survived by her husband Eugene Gasparre, sister Brenda Galella, daughter Barbara Jean Gasparre and Tracy Cologna, daughter Robin Ruggiero and husband Steve Ruggiero, son Eugene Gasparre, Jr. and wife Sarah Gasparre, grandsons Christopher Gasparre and Mason Gasparre, and great grandson Michael Stanyard. 

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and well known to her community as the manager of Quick Stop in Tarrytown.  She had a passion for cooking, baking, and sharing recipes, laughter and stories, and would often be known to bake, cook, or crochet something special for her friends and family.   

A memorial service will be held at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown, NY on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 12pm to 2pm.  Barbara was loved dearly, and will be missed by many.
