Barbara A. (Baird) Biot

Barbara A. Biot, a longtime resident of Tarrytown died peacefully on December 22, 2022 at the age of 89. Born in the Bronx on November 22, 1933, she was the daughter of William and Rose McKernan Baird.

After college, she had been a customer service representative for a publishing company in New York. But Barbara’s focus in life was her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Debra Geiger, 10 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren as well as her sister Patricia (Cos) dePazzi and her son-in-law Bernard McAvoy. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Biot and her daughter Donna McAvoy.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00PM at Coffey Funeral Home where services will be held on Friday at 10:00 followed by interment with her husband in Calverton National Cemetery.
