Arlene (Rinaldi) Pietretti, 95, longtime resident of Yonkers and most recently of Tarrytown, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday August 5, 2022.

Arlene was born on October 12, 1926, in Torrington, CT to Anna and Anthony Rinaldi. In the early 1940’s Arlene sang in the church services at St. Peter’s Church, performed in local theatrical productions and sang on the local Torrington radio station. She married Joseph Pietretti on September 25, 1948.

After moving to New York, Arlene worked for The County Trust in Mount Vernon before having a long career in the Business Office at Lawrence Hospital. She is a former parishioner of St. Eugene’s Church, Yonkers. She was very involved with her family and local organizations and activities.

Arlene was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph; son, Stephen and sister, Marie Denza. She is survived by her son, Joseph Pietretti (Susan); daughter, Lisa Kern (Fred); eight grandchildren (Megan, James, Kate, Chris, Stephen, Kevin, Nicole and Christine) and seven great-grandchildren (Daniel, Joseph, JJ, Emma, Jenna, Susana and Ryan).

The family would like to thank the staff at Brightview Tarrytown, for the wonderful care and support given while she was a resident there.

Visitation is Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown, NY.

Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 10:00 AM at St. John Paul II Maronite Catholic Church at Immaculate Conception in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY
