Antonio Genio Vidal

Antonio Genio Vidal, of Tarrytown, died February 1, 2024. He was 80 years old. 

Mr. Vidal was born on July 22nd, 1943, to Manuel and Maria Vidal in Portugal. Mr. Vidal had been the Head Custodian at Tappan Hill School for many years. He also drove a bus for the Pocantico Hills School District for 15 years. 

He is survived by his wife Irene Vidal of Tarrytown. He is also survived by his two daughters: Christina (Paul) Clarke of Sleepy Hollow and Carla (Kevin) Sapienza of Cortlandt Manor. In addition, he is survived by his five grandchildren: Ryan, Kayla, Sara, Emma, and Luke and his four Great-grandchildren: Riley, Liam, Elianna, and Vicente. He is pre-deceased by his daughter Corinne Vidal (2010).

Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 pm on Monday, February 5 at Coffey Funeral Home. His funeral mass will be held Tuesday, February 6 at 10:30 am at Transfiguration Church. Burial follows at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
