Antonio A. Ribeiro

Antonio A. Ribeiro, a longtime Sleepy Hollow resident died April 12, 2024 at the age of 92. Born in Portugal on September 10, 1931, he was the son of Jose and Patrocinia Ribeiro.

After coming to the United States, he settled in North Tarrytown and began a long career as an assembler at General Motors. He was a member of the UAW Local 666. He was also a member of the Portuguese American Cultural Club.

Antonio was married to Gloria Pereira who predeceased him in 2010.

He is survived by his loving daughters Diane (James) DelMonaco of Tarrytown and Elizabeth (John) Naccari of Ossining as well as his beloved grandchildren Alyssa, Gabriella and Nicholas DelMonaco and Christian and Jessica Naccari. He is also survived by his sister Elvira Dos Santos and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. His Funeral Mass will be at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Wednesday at 10:00
